1 Election and length of term: the continuing education chairs person of the Illinois Society of Sytology will be elected annually by the members in accordance with the ISC constitution. The term of office will be one year.

Qualification: ISC member in good standing.
Cytotechnologist –ASCP registered or equivalent
Leadership and managing abilities

Primary functions: to promote the continuing education of the society through publication and communication within the society.

Representative duties:
1.  To maintain continuing education credits through the ASCP.
2.  To maintain records of meetings and educati0nal activities sponsored by the ISC.
3.  To seek out new sources of continuing education and assist the president and president-elect with CE activities.
4.  To maintain the CE section of the web site.
