1 Election and length of term: the publicity chairs person of the Illinois Society of Cytology will be elected annually by the members in accordance with the ISC constitution. The term of office will be one year.

Qualification: ISC member in good standing.
Cytotechnologist–ASCP registered or equivalent
Leadership and managing abilities

Primary functions: to promote the activities of the society through publication and communication within the society.

Representative duties:
1.  serve as editor of the In CYTE and publication section of the web site
2.  update and monitor news of the society
3.  identify, solicit and recruit authors for ISC publications
4.  To obtain and disseminate information from national, regional and state organizations of interest to the ISC membership.
